Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World
Super Mario All-Stars contains enhanced remakes of Super Mario Brothers (SMB) from 1985, SMB: The Lost Levels (1986), SMB2 (1988), SMB3 (1990) & Super Mario World (SMW)(1991).
The Super Mario Brothers run of games are hands down my alltime favorites of any game runs, especially the first one. Maybe it's because when I was a kid and I first saw SMB in the arcade it totally blew my mind. I had seen the original Mario Brothers and Donkey Kong but there was nothing quite like this game anywhere at that time. I remember dropping $10 in quarters on that game that night because that's all my mom would give me for games, and I became almost obsessed with it. My mom had a bowling league on wednesdays and that was the only time I could play it because the mall's arcade was always packed, so I'd get my weekly fix at the bowling alley. It wasn't until I moved in with my dad that I got good at it about a year later in 86. It's funny because the arcade SMB that I ended up finally beating was also at a bowling alley so for me the first SMB and bowling alley's go hand in hand lol. My best friend had gotten a NES for christmas and being able to play SMB without dropping mad amounts of quarters was fucking awesome to me. And that's when it got to the point that I could beat the game in 20 minutes easily, having memorized almost every level thoroughly. When SMB2 came out I was into it but something about it didn't seem as cool as the first one. Same with SMB3, although they both had some pretty sweet things about em. When Super Mario World came out though I felt they had added some really cool features and it made it much more interesting to me. For some reason I still can't stand the maps in 2, 3 and SMW, they're just so slow to navigate around in. The official sequal to SMW is Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island or just Yoshi's Island for short. I'll get to that game on my next post. That one is definitely my favorite of all the Marios along with the OG one.

thanks a bunch man!!!
what soft ware do i use to extract the file?
what emulator do u use? if its zsnes how does it work?
use winzip to extract it.
and yes i do use zsnes. you'll have to check out the zsnes forum on how to use it. it would be too hard to describe in it here lol.
Guyz, i dunno where to d/l the ROM, itz pissing me off.LOL
it's right where it says download (massmirror) - then when you're at massmirror, just select any of the hosting sites (rapidshare, zshare, etc) - then follow the instructions on whichever site you choose.
when it finishes downloading i click on the file and it opens up internet explorer and closes.what should i do.
i clicked on download(MassMinor)and it says file not found...
i totally figured it out. This is freakin fantastic!!!
hey guys i cant seem to get the files to extract, i've used win rar and downloaded from 2 different servers and both times the files wouldnt extract because windows wont recognise the files any clues on what to do(could really do with this rom lol)
cheers
what program or emu do i use to put on psp
dunno man, but if you google "psp hack nses emulator" there's quite a few forums that tell you how. i wasn't even aware of the psp being able to play nes/snes roms until recently. seems sony doesn't like it though, with all their motherboard/firmware updates.
and to all the people having problems downloading the rom: if you can't figure out how to DL a simple file then you're on your own.
Why are all you guys noobs?
^ LOL, no kidding.
I just posted Yoshi's Island too!!! Check the main page.
thanks a bunch :D
bunch of other SMB roms got banned from the ESA -__-
does it screw up your psp or your computer
yo
hell no bruv!!! I downloaded zsnes and a couple of roms (despite my noobness) and yeah they work fine and havent caused me any problems Goodluck chap!
a rom will not screw up your pc or psp. now how you go about downgrading your psp firmware could result in a bricked device, so make sure you follow directions properly.
i dont have hombrew or any emulators or any thing i just downloaded it and put it in the game folder and obviously it didnt work this is annoying me
could you give me some links on how to make this work... like the emulator and extractor

My friend and I were recently discussing about the ubiquitousness of technology in our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further advances, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about almost every day.
